How To Protect The Horizontal Directional Drilling Rig When The Temperature Is Relatively Low?

Will the work of the horizontal directional drilling rig be affected when the relative temperature is relatively low? What should we do if the horizontal directional drilling rig stays in a place with relatively low temperature? What do we need to protect the horizontal directional drilling rig?

(1) When selecting the liquid diesel to be added to the horizontal directional drilling rig, we can choose according to the different models of the liquid diesel. Generally, different models are used in different environments. When the temperature is relatively low, we can choose according to the temperature.

(2) Selection of engine oil required for horizontal directional drilling rig.

<1> We must not add different engine oils in the same chassis. When the temperature is relatively low, we need to change the model of engine oil used by the horizontal directional drilling rig frequently. However, when we add new friends to the horizontal directional drilling rig, we must completely use the previous engine oil before replacing it.

<2> It is not allowed to add oil to the horizontal directional drill when the chassis of the horizontal directional drill is hot. When changing the oil, it is necessary to turn off the started horizontal directional drill and ensure that the oil in the horizontal directional drill is at the same temperature as the oil to be added before adding oil.

<3> When adding oil to the horizontal directional drilling rig, be sure to add an appropriate amount of oil, not more.

(3) The horizontal directional drilling rig uses antifreeze. But we must pay attention to the following points when using antifreeze:

<1> Do not mix different antifreeze. The ingredients of different antifreeze oils are different, so when we use different antifreeze oils together, the phenomenon of mutual reaction between antifreeze oils may occur.

<2> Do not add water to the antifreeze oil when using it.

<3> Be careful when using antifreeze oil. Don't touch your skin with antifreeze oil. Antifreeze oil will cause damage to our skin.
