What are the common problems in the use of horizontal directional drilling rigs?

1. Shutdown operation ① After reaming and pipe laying, according to the work arrangement of the person in charge on site, recover the drill pipe and drilling tools, remove the anchoring device, and drive the horizontal directional drilling rig to the designated position.

② When the drilling is stopped for measurement, the delivery of drilling fluid to the hole should be stopped.

③ According to the equipment maintenance regulations, clean the whole vehicle, first remove the dirt and grease, and then lubricate to keep the equipment clean.
2. Clean up the site and restore the landform (1) After the operation is completed, clean up the site in time, withdraw the equipment and tools, and restore the landform.

(2) When retracting the mast, firstly connect the power head bracket with the mast carriage with a tie rod, raise the tower oil cylinder and drop the tower, slide the mast upwards, and insert the positioning pins connected to both sides of the mast and mast carriage.

(3) After the completion of the project, carry out routine inspection on the drilling tools, mainly including: ① Whether there are cracks in the welding seam of the back expansion head; ; ④ Whether there is slippage or wear on the thread of the drilling tool; ⑤ Whether the back expansion head is obviously deformed; ⑥ Whether the rotation of the transfer case is flexible.

3. Regulations on the elimination of abnormal conditions (1) Slowly feed in case of rock or coarse sand layer during drilling. Once the drill sticks, immediately start the emergency stop device, stop drilling, troubleshoot or choose a rock breaker. The function of the drill bit is to drill again.

(2) When the propulsion or rotation pressure changes suddenly during the drilling process, the probe has no signal, the signal does not change, the signal changes suddenly, the water and gas are not smooth, etc., it should be stopped immediately to analyze and find out the cause.

(3) The jacking or stopping of the pipe should be based on the signal from the tool pipe head. In the event of a failure in the jacking system, a signal should be sent to the operator at the head of the tool pipe to deal with it in time, and work with failure is strictly prohibited.
