Pay attention to the damage of the short connection type of the drill collar (wrong connection, random connection, severe wear, etc.), and it should be replaced in time to avoid damage to the drill pipe thread. Avoid mixing drill pipes of different button types, even if they are not produced by the same manufacturer (because the manufacturing methods of drill pipes, props used, and mechanical equipment of each manufacturer are different, the tolerances and close distances of processed drill pipes must be different); Do not mix drill pipes with a large difference between the old and the new, or the degree of wear, to avoid construction hazards. Use qualified zinc-based rib grease and butter oil. Insufficient thread grease will cause high points of damage to the shoulder of the joint, which will easily "loosen" the threaded connection and cause thread damage. If thread compound is not used or unqualified thread compound is used, the surface of the threaded thread will be bonded, resulting in sticking.
